With the app, you can easily manage:

  • class enrolments and cancellations
  • Badminton and/or Pickleball court reservations
  • opening the gym door
  • get info on events or last-minute class changes
  • Under the "Instructions" heading on the home screen, you’ll find all the most important instructions

Enrolment/Cancellation/Queue:

  1. Enrolment opens 48 hours before the start of the class/session.
  2. Open the app’s Calendar tab.
  3. Select the class or shift you want to join.
  4. Tap “Enrol to event.”
  5. If the class is full, you can join the waitlist/queue. You’ll automatically get a spot in the class if someone cancels. You’ll receive an email notification if you’re added to the class.
  6. Cancel your enrolment at least 3 hours before the class starts.

TIP: We recommend allowing notifications for the app, as we send push messages mainly in exceptional circumstances, such as sudden class changes/cancellations. This ensures that you receive messages quickly and reliably.

Campus gyms

There are gyms on the SAMK campuses in Pori and Rauma that are available to all our members, regardless of their university.

Here are the instructions for using the gyms:

  • The MoWe Card is always personal and every user of the gym must have purchased MoWe Card.
  • The gym door is opened by clicking the "Open gym door" button in the mobile app. Location services as well as bluethooth must be enabled so that the reader recognizes that you are at the door.
In Rauma, we recommend using the exact location.

  • Please press the door opening button every time you visit the gym, as our system calculates the number of users based on the number of times the door is opened.

  • Gym opening hours:
Monday - Friday at 06.00-20.55, Saturdays 06.00-17.55. Sundays closed.
    • TIP: Opening hours and number of users are displayed in the app every day.
    • !! You must leave the gym by closing time, i.e. 21.00 on weekdays and 18.00 on Saturdays.

  • Any reservations for the gym will be shown in the app. Please always check your reservations before going to the gym.
    • !! Staff shifts in Pori on Tuesdays from 16.00-17.00 and Thursdays from 16.00-17.15. Students do not have access during these times.

  • Please report any broken equipment or other problems to us immediately by email or directly using the QR codes on the gym equipment.
  • After use, please return the equipment to its place of use. Weights placed on squat racks and other bars will also be unloaded from the bars onto the weight racks after use.
    • TIP: A clean gym is a comfortable and safe place to work out :)

Passage codes and sport facilities

When the outer doors of the campuses are locked, you will need a passage code.

  • Passage code for the Pori campus: 1748#
  • Passage code for the Rauma campus: outer door (D2) and lower corridor of the gym 1748#

The passage codes can be found on the front page of the app under the Instructions heading.

You can also find the codes on our website (link): Passage codes

Sport facilities:

You can find gyms on both the Pori and Rauma SAMK campuses.

Classes and shifts are mainly held on the Pori and Rauma SAMK campuses.

You can find instructions for the sports facilities under the Instructions heading in the app and on our website (link): Sports facilities

Group fitness classes and open Sport games

With the MoWe Card, you can participate in as many group fitness classes and ball sports sessions as you like. You can book only 1 badminton shift/day.

  • The classes and shifts in the Calendar have instructors to guide you. Badminton/Pickelball sessions are self-paced.
  • Equipment is available on behalf of us.
  • Class descriptions can be found in the Calendar under each class.

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the class so that you have time to collect the necessary equipment.
    • TIP: If you arrive on time, the instructor will have time to show you how to use the equipment, etc.
    • !! Once the class has started, you will not be allowed to join.
  • Bring a water bottle and a sweat towel to the class. We recommend flexible clothing and indoor shoes.

Open sport games are for players of all levels. We play in a relaxed atmosphere. There is an instructor in the classes who ensures that the games run smoothly.

In group fitness classes, you can exercise according to your own fitness level by choosing easier/more challenging options of the movements.

Badminton and Pickleball shifts

PORI:RAUMA:
  • The shift is booked in the app by registering for the shift.
  • You can book ONE (1) session/per day, as the number of shifts is limited and we want to allow as many members as possible to play.
    • TIP: For badminton and pickleball shifts, your playing partner does not need to be a member. However, the person booking the shift is responsible for the shift.

  • The equipment is included in the shift and can be found behind the black curtain of the Agorahall in Pori and in the storage room of the sports hall in Rauma.
    • Please respect the equipment and use it properly.
    • Please return the equipment after use according to the instructions.
    • In Pori, it is also essential to return rackets in the racket bags provided, so that the nets do not break.
  • In Pori, court A is a four-player court and court B is a two-player court.
    • !! Playing equipment should not be moved between courts, so that the necessary amount of equipment is available on the courts.

  • TIP: Instructions for the shifts can be found in the app under each shift.
  • Please report any broken equipment to us immediately.

Open shifts and Game on shifts

Open Shifts and Game On Shifts are intended for personal training and games. Everyone participating in a session must have a valid MoWe Card. Sessions are reserved through the Calendar in the same way as, for example, badminton sessions—by enrolling for the specific session. The person who reserves the session is responsible for it.

During a slot, you can play, hold your own training sessions, or even practice dance routines.

In Pori, the slot does not include a speaker or training or game equipment; please bring your own equipment.

In Rauma, during a Game On shift, you can play badminton or other games; the storage room door is open. A speaker is not included in the equipment.

Yogobe online training service

The MoWe Card includes access to the Yogobe online training service. With Yogobe you can exercise, move, yoga, relax and recover whenever and wherever you want.

You can request your own code for the service by sending us an email to: info@campusmowe.fi
