Training instructions for beginners
It would be good to do gym training 1-2 times a week for full body workouts. We recommend to leave 2-3 days between training sessions to maximize recovery.
The exercise should include 4-6 different movements, 3-5 sets and 8-12 repetitions so that the last repetitions would be relatively heavy.
We recommend that you first practice correct performance techniques before adding a load. Perform the movement calmly and in a controlled manner. If you can’t control the movement all the way, reduce your weights.
In addition to this, it would be a good to do light aerobic exercise 2-3 hours a week or alternatively 1 hour and 15 minutes a week of intense aerobic exercise(UKK-instituutti).
