Welcome to practise swimming techniques or swimming basics.
RAUMA: Swimming technique and Adults swimming school
Swimming courses are organized in SAMK Merimäki swimming pool on (3 times) starting from Tue 4.10.2022.
Course suits for starters but also for peolpe with more experience.
Course fee 20€ (-30% with a MoWe Card).
Course meetings
On Tuesdays 4.10., 11.10. and 18.10.2022.
Freestyle swimming technique course at 18.00-19.00
In freestyle swimming course we practise a correct breathing technique, correct posture and swim kick.
Skill requirement: If you can swim 50 m continously (with any technique) and you dare to put your head under water, you can join. You do not need earlier experience of swimming technique practise.
Equipment: Swimming trunks/full swimsuit (not a beach bikini), swimming goggles. Water is a bit cold at the pool, so if you own a swimming cap, it will warm you. Sauna is available. If you have long hair, please tie your hair.

Breaststroke swimming technique course at 19.00-20.00
In breaststroke swimming course we practise correct hand and kicking technique and coreect breathing.

Adult swimming school at 17.00-18.00
Has the swimming skill been missed? Come to the swimming school for adults, the aim of the course is to make the course participants able to enjoy in water. We learn to float, glide, dive and swim beginner backstroke and dog paddling swimming. Let's practice at a calm pace. It is good to have swimming goggles. Long hair should be tied or have swimming cap.
