Thinkable walking combines mind and body

Does it feel like a break would do you some good and that your minds requires something else to think about aside from school or work?

If you answered yes, take part in a free Thinkable Walking session with us in the Soteekki HILL-room Tuesdays and Thursdays at 13 o’clock!

Sessions are carried out by Soteekki students.

What is Thinkable walking?

Thinkable Walking is a service for the social distancing times, developed together with the Study Well- project, and which consists of exercise and podcast-type sessions. These sessions are designed for the students and staff of SAMK, but everybody is welcome.

On Tuesdays at 13:00 (lasts 30-40 minutes): Exercise sessions give you information concerning topics that have to do with health and exercise, allowing you to learn new things and challenge your mind with different types of drills.

On Thursdays at 13:00 (lasts 20 min):
Podcast-type sessions are held on Thursdays at 13:00, which allow you to just walk and listen. These sessions last for about 20 minutes. Each session has a rotating topic and you also have the opportunity to request for a theme that interests you.

All you need is a cheerful mind, headphones, and sneakers. Both types of sessions are conducted long distance, so mostly you’ll get to walk with us outside, but in case of bad weather you can also participate indoors.

Greetings from Soteekki students
