What is CampusMoWe?

Diverse and affordable sports and wellbeing services for university students and staff members around Satakunta region (Pori, Rauma, Kankaanpää & Huittinen).

Low-threshold sports service

CampusMoWe is for anyone: the ones who hasn't taken the first step yet to be more physically active or have just started their new active lifestyle, or the ones for whom physical activities are already part of their daily living.

In CampusMoWe classes and shifts equipment is offered by CampusMoWe, so you don't need your own kettlebell or badminton racket, for example. Exercise at CampusMoWe is suitable in the student's budget and allows for a wide range of exercise and low-threshold experimentation with different sports.


To whom?

Students and staff members in following Universities are able to use CampusMoWe services and products

  • ​​​​​​​Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, Ltd.
  • University Consortium of Pori.
  • Faculty of Education Department of Teacher Education, Rauma
  • Diaconia University of Applied Sciences Pori

To be able to access CampusMoWe services and products students and staff members needs to have valid -up to date University access code (HAKA-authentication).

Once the University username and password expires, person will no longer have access to purchase new membership or make new bookings for CampusMoWe services.


Equality

CampusMoWe services can be used with both languages: Finnish and English. Language selection is available in mobileapplication and in websites.

You can join classes even though you speak Finnish or English.

CampusMoWe services and products are relative to amount of the users and members in each campus city. Over 60% of students are in Pori and 25% in Rauma.

CampusMoWe reserves the rights to build and change the services/offerings.

CampusMoWe history

CampusMoWe - Movement & Wellbeing was created as a result of SataSport -project and it launched on Spring 2019.

SataSport – was a three year (2018-2020) project funded by Ministry of Education and Culture, Finland. Kati Karinharju worked as a project manager in SataSport and Riikka Tupala and Erika Santala were project workers.
